What can be cut with Jet Edge abrasive jet/water jet?
Jet Edge abrasive jets can cut virtually any material, including metals, stone, composites, glass and much more. Jet Edge water jets cut softer materials such as food, foam, paper and rubber.
 

What tolerances can Jet Edge hold?
Jet Edge water jets/abrasive jets can hold an accuracy of 0.005 inch with a repeatability of 0.001 inch over the entire work envelope.

How thick of material will abrasive jet cut?
Jet Edge Abrasive jets have cut metals as thick as 20 inches.

Abrasive water jet cutting of hard materials is accomplished by adding abrasive to the water jet stream through the Permalign® II Cutting Head. The design of the Permalign® II ensures orifice and nozzle alignment and maintains tool center point location, therefore eliminating downtime due to operator adjustments.
